What You'll Do:
As a Machinist / Fabricator, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality components and assemblies used in our technical training equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual machining operations including drilling, shearing, deburring, cutting, and bench work.
- Assemble products according to specifications and work instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correct manufacturing defects.
- Fabricate jigs, fixtures, and production aids as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Welding & Fabrication Experience (Preferred).
Candidates with welding experience may also:
- Perform fit-up and tack welding operations.
- Bevel and prepare materials for welding.
- Clean, grind, and finish weldments before and after welding.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of machining experience.
- Experience with milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and bench operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of welding and fabrication experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with fabrication fixtures and tooling.

- Standard hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m..
- No required overtime.
